RE: Cafferty File - Big Business By The Democrats

CNN.com - Cafferty File question: What does it mean that the Democratic Party is becoming the party of Big Business?

Terming the Democratic Party as the “party of Big Business” is a fair assessment because President-elect Obama has been doing just that.

During the past eight years, we had to suffer through what I like to call the clown act terms with President Bush. He had no sense of understanding to the basic fundamentals of first and foremost homeland businesses, much less international businesses.

Instead of continuing economic surpluses, President Bush decided to counteract his predecessor President Clinton. He managed to spiral the United States to the deficit depths of trillions of dollars, thanks in part to the War on Terror.

President George H. W. Bush managed to spiral the United States into recession as well, so it looks to be a trend from the Bush family. Let’s just hope Jeb Bush never tries to run for President.

Much like President Clinton had to do during his term; President-elect Barack Obama will have to replenish the economy with a stimulus plan. A fair bailout orchestrated by the Obama Administration will ensure the much overdue care Americans have been waiting for.

The Obama Administration now looks to have a great foundation, and though a lot of the key members are from the Bill Clinton era, I do believe we will see the kind of change Barack Obama originally promised. After all, the man in charge is Barack Obama this time, not Bill Clinton, so let’s remember that folks.

So what does it mean that the Democratic Party is becoming the “party of Big Business?”

Well, good business endeavors often translate into a happy America. This is a happy America that feels they have given that quintessential lending of a hand to their government without waste. The sense of participations sprouts from the truthful words spoken by Barack Obama from the campaign trail during the Election, which looks to now be coming to fruition.

The Republican era is finally taking a sidestep to the new kids on the block, and I believe it will stay that way for the next eight years with President Barack Obama.
